Praveen Krishnan

Praveen is a Postdoctoral researcher at Facebook AI. His current research interest focuses on photorealistic generation of textual images in scene text and handwriting.

He completed his PhD at CVIT, IIIT Hyderabad, under the supervision of Prof. C.V. Jawahar. He pursued his doctoral research on the problem of information retrieval from scanned handwritten and printed document image collections. During his PhD, he was a recipient of Alexa Graduate Fellowship and TCS research fellowship.
